🔴 Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari Frustration Grows as Podium Drought Sparks Concern — Is the Tide Turning? 🔴

Former F1 driver Johnny Herbert has weighed in on Lewis Hamilton’s rocky start at Ferrari, revealing that the seven-time world champion has likely been “internally very frustrated” during his first 12 grands prix in red.

Despite high expectations following his switch from Mercedes, Hamilton is still searching for his first race podium with Ferrari. While there have been flashes of brilliance — including a sprint race win in China and a sprint podium in Miami — the main Grands Prix have largely been a struggle.

Hamilton’s transition has been hampered by early communication issues with race engineer Riccardo Adami and the challenge of adapting to a completely different car philosophy after years of driving for Mercedes. Meanwhile, teammate Charles Leclerc has outshone him with four podium finishes in the opening 12 races.

Herbert points to Hamilton’s strong outing at Silverstone — where he looked competitive despite tricky weather conditions — as a reason for hope. “He hasn’t given up,” Herbert said. “He’s still working hard… Silverstone was hopefully a sign of better things to come.”

However, Ferrari must still raise their game, warns Herbert, especially with the looming distraction of development focus shifting to the 2026 regulations.
