With the club negotiating the terms of a deal, RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has become Manchester United’s main target. Newcastle is also interested, although Sesko is believed to prefer a move to Manchester United.
If Manchester United wants to sign a striker this window, the 22-year-old has become their top target.
Additionally, exploratory discussions have been undertaken with Sesko’s representation. It is thought that although Manchester United is eager to recruit him, the financial terms of the deal will not be straightforward.
Although Newcastle United is also interested in the player, Sesko is believed to prefer Manchester United at this time.
Recruitment director Christopher Vivell, who is widely recognized for having scouted Sesko for Red Bull Salzburg when he was sixteen, is the one driving interest in Sesko.
Sesko has always piqued United’s interest; they have been monitoring his progress for a number of years.
